SHORT  TERM  RENTALS

I recently turned one of my homes into a STR and wanted to share some helpful information about the process. Below are a few links to some of the local foothill counties/cities websites with information about their regulations, permitting, etc. Some cities/towns regulate the STR laws, while many of the counties control regulation. You will also want to make sure any local HOA have requirements about STRs. Please reach out to me directly for any questions about getting started. FYI: some cities/counties have a moratorium on new applications and some have a cap.

I personally believe the STR market is a great way to make passive income and gain long term wealth. I have been renting one of my homes out since January 2023 on both Airbnb and VRBO. If you are interested in this- call me and I am happy to give you my two cents on the STR business.
